  • Necking is local compression. The pipe end is squeezed in the mold. It requires precise positioning and stable clamping.

  • Ring making is wire bending. Wire is cut and bent into rings. It requires high speed reciprocating motion with frequent starts and stops.

  • Ring welding is assembly joining. The pipe body, dome plate, and ring are positioned and welded together. It requires part rotation synchronized with welding.

A single machine cannot handle continuous feed, impact force, local compression, high speed reciprocating motion, and synchronized rotation welding all at once. Forcing them together would create a machine too complex to maintain, with high failure rates and poor performance on every step.
